Raymondskill Falls
As the tallest waterfall in the state of Pennsylvania it is only four feet shorter than Niagra Falls. The ravine leading to the falls has a canopy of huge Hemlock and Evergreens- some of the parks oldest tress. The Raymondskill Creek and Falls is in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreational Area.

The Pocono Mountains consists of a broad plateau 1,000 feet higher than the surrounding region. The lakes, wetlands and streams collect tremendous volumes of water that cascades down 600 to 800 feet as it gets in close proximity to the Delaware River. These "Fall Lines" are where many waterfalls are located.
